Fasting FAQ

Remedying a stripped colon

You are quite right regarding stripping the colon of its natural content. IF I ever encounter someone who had a "colonic irrigation" (From the wrong side), I would strongly advise such a person to minimize the damage by fasting for at least 3 days, allowing the colon to remove all the bacteria that was displaced from the lower to the higher colon, before re-introducing food. If such a person has an appendix, this will then re-"seed" the colonic contents as "new" food passes by it.
