Hi Lisa.. pleasure to meet you...

I've never done a dry fast but was just watching a video on youtube with a russian guy that did a 9 day dry fast.

Congrats on your boobs :) good way to cover up a slight bulge eh?... wouldn't work for me being male though rofl.

I also did a blog for my last fast and pretty much documented what I went through daily.. It is good to look back at it so I know what you mean.

I have no set timing on how long im fasting for.. im feeling great at the moment and i'm just listening to my body.

gl on ur goals :)

Gm all...

Well... day 2 of my water fast completed... went pretty smoothly... wasn't hungry at all but heard my tummy talking to me a few times. I did open the refrigerator last night and saw some tasty treats that tempted me to take a bite.. lol but I just drank some water and went to sleep knowing that the rewards of the fast would out weight the instant gratification of those tasty tasty treats.

I've had minor headaches throughout the day yesterday and I have one now as I type this. I've been drinking lots of water and my urine is nice and clear :)

Overall i'm feeling great and i'm off to take on day 3.

Hey Ice congrats on getting through day 2! I made it through as well but it turned out to be more difficult than I expected. I ended the dry portion with a cup of herbal tea plain. I felt weak and crabby and even my clients noticed I wasn't feeling my usual cheerful self. At one point I became very noticeably pale-even my lips drained of color. I had one 4 oz tea that I mentioned as well as two more 4 ounce cups of water. It did help a bit but what ultimately helped the most was finally plopping into bed. My ketones were moderate. My weight is only down half a pound. I'm really bummed about that, but it has given me motivation to continue today. I'm sad I am still over 110 lbs. I'm usually 105-108. But I can see I have reduced my belly fat and there is a slight space between my thighs. Those two things are my main motivation for fasting. I'm going to put on my skinny jeans and snap a photo. That usually tells me everything I need to know. I wish I could post my photos but they are in jpeg format and I don't seem to be able to upload them.
Good luck everyone who is fasting.

Hey everyone. I'm ending my fast today. I just made plans to meet a friend in Philadelphia for dinner and I want to ease into eating before that. So far I had about two oz of coffee with a flavored creamer packet and now I am having a cup of Peach Detox tea with raw honey. I plan to fast again on Monday.

Hi Lisa,

hopefully when you get back on Monday i'll still be here fasting :).

So... I made it through day 3 and it was not bad. I had minor headaches and there's a pain in my back that i've had for a while that seemed to resurface yesterday but i'm not feeling it at the moment.

I'm not really having any food cravings and i'm feeling motivated to get through. I didn't get much sleep last night so i'm feeling pretty beat up at the moment lol... think i'll go get some rest now.

well.. so far my fast has been great and I am now going to tackle day 4. Gl to all.
