Marsh created the topic: Fasting and skinny people.
When doing fasting, even though I'm quite thin, I still like fasting.
People say I'm mad, when I'm in the Gym or at work.
A friend, who is also skinny wants to try fasting, but being put off.
I find it very uplifting, and being bony isn't important - being healthy is.
Anyone here facing the same situation?

Fasting could help gain weight because it makes the body process food more efficiently.

I suppose it's also the person's metabolism. I've always been thin, even when I ate alot and only put a few pounds on. Seems to level out, unless I fast and work out, which I will be doing this year, as part of my NY Resolution.
I find I only need 800 to 1000 calories per day, to keep going, maybe more if I do loads of training and races. But you're right, I find that I can eat much less and still not feel I need any more.
This year I'm going to cut my intake lower and maintain my activities, but do more fasts at shorter durations instead.
