I am wondering whether the Pinel Gland can be de-calcified with fasting. We filter tap water with a Berkey System which has a flouride filter, but there is still a lot of flouride in foods and even sprayed on fruit and veg.

After reading Health Won I have ordered some equine dolomite (if it's good enough for the horses right, actually the only one I could find in AU) but I am concened about calcification of that as well. I am thinking that as it is natural and in the right proportions to Mag(synergystically balanced?) it should be okay.

So is it possible to decalcify the joints etc and Pineal through fasting?

Thanks,
Michael.

The Pineal gland, dear Michael, is a rather complex organ. But I have seen calcification resolving at least partially in many areas during a fast. Thus it is at least possible.

Dolomite indeed has a natural Calcium-Magnesium balance as you point out and it is difficult to absorb.. thus it is not "forced upon the body", allowing you to absorb only what you need. Yet I don't like "supplements" of any kind. For example, 70% of people who get heart attacks have normal Cholesterol but only 10% have normal calcium.. yet the pharmaceutical industry convinces us to prescribe drugs that lower the cholesterol and increase the calcium...!

I have seen rather dramatic reversals of calcification during a fast.

Interesting question Michael. I've always wondered about all the talk about pineal gland and whether you should even worry about it. How would you even know that your pineal gland is calcified, is there any symptoms? Should I even be concerned with my pineal gland?

It would depend I guess on what talk you have heard about the pineal gland and your own situation about whether you should be concerned about it.
It concerns me on both the physical and the spiritual levels.
Physicaly because it regulates (creates?) melatonin and seratonin, both mood and sleep (had to look this word up>) neurotransmitters.
Spiritually I had forgotten about it but felt some strange pressure, illumination, during meditation in my last fast, but to be honest it was not in the area where the pineal sits but just below the front of my skull.
I don't think that calcification in general would be good for any part of the body.

Whilst it is true that calcification is not good for any part of your body (other than BONE, of course!) it does not necessarily affect the functioning of those organs. If muscle calcifies you do appreciate the movement would become restricted and if arteries calcifies their elasticity is compromised but other organs have to be very pronouncedly calcified before they stop working normally.
