As most here know by now, I drink black coffee during my fasts, whether they're short-term or long-term fasts. I love the variety, and it has no negative effect on my fasts of which I am aware. However, I must admit that my coffee is very weak compared to others' coffee. For example, I use one -- and only one -- scoop of regular coffee for an entire pot of coffee. I did this years ago so that I would be able to drink more cups of coffee per day.

Happy fasting! :)

I always drink a cup of coffee in the morning prior weight training. when i go out to catch up with friends on fasting days in the afternoon or evening, i order a cup of plain roiboos tea (non-caf) or green tea if that's early in the afternoon... instead of water. this way it's much easier for me to stick with the 010 rut and stay social, and make the most of my workouts, as well. plus, i love drinking hot drinks in the outside, they get cold shortly anyway.. it's freezing! :)
