Am 5'6, 131lbs. I have dry fasted before for 27hrs and 36hrs. I have also done a few short water fasting. I have 8 days off work hence the time for absolute dry fast. Greatest desire is weightloss and to heal jaundice. Starting now 4pm Fri.2 Nov. The last time I drank anything was coffee @ 2pm.

I will take it one day @ time listening to my body. Also plan on walking when I have strength. So far today I have walked 3 miles. I need all the support I can get

Hello Alex and welcome to the site. If you have 8 days are you attempting to dry fast for 8 days? If so I would still listen carefully to your body and drink water when your body feels as though it has reached the threshold of what it can do on a dry fast. I have done a couple of 3 day dry fasts and that was my limit for going without water. If I had more experience I may have gone an extra day or so. If the body does get dehydrated it can also be counter productive and what you want is to optimise the fast for the time you have available. And don't forget to allow time for the re-feed this is also really important. Looking forward to your updates.

Thank you david. I had a restless sleep last night stomach growling, hungry but not thirsty. Am already feeling exhausted because I did a 2 mile walk.I have a weight watchers scale that measure body fat, water, weight and bone mass.
Yesterday @ 5pm 131lbs, 22.1%body fat, 56.8%water. I will wait for 5 pm to get accurate 24hrs mark.
