I read somewhere in this web site about other mammals and how they eat. It got me thinking...is there any other mammal that is carnivorous, about the same size as humans, that eats three meals a day?

Well I doubt many if any do, as carnivorous would have to do hunting three times a day to do that maybe in a zoo but it's the humans who control when there eat. I bet humans would eat less often as well if there had to chase down every meal themselves and had no way to keep food fresh.

If all the animals had there only refrigerator and as much food as there wanted who knows how there choose to eat.

I guess eating has been overrated in humans. I've read somewhere on the net about a 114-year old who said his recipe for long life was simple: he ate just twice a day and it's enough.

Maybe it was not neccessarily the kind of diet. Maybe it doesn't matter if we eat raw food, vegetarian diet or meats. Maybe it's not a matter of finding the right proportion of carb-fat-protein. Maybe it's simply this: DO NOT OVEREAT. And it's so easy to overeat.

You are right hands down! For the more, there so many long-livers in Mediterranean countries, Japan, United States and Republic of Georgia. Everyone of the ones who got interviewed and have been studied indicated that they eat everything but in moderation.

My doctor recently told me that the HMO where he works wants him to bow down and pray to the cholesterol god. He told me that the best single thing one can do for healthy living is not to be over weight....especially in older age. Think about it, how many old people do you see that are very fat. They are almost all thin.

Robyrobot,

Very true, you don't see obese people in their 80s and 90s. Yes, cholesterol is a big key to staying healthy. My LDL dropped from 127 to 97 after my 40 day fast.
