Hello all! I am new here. I did Alternate day/Intermittent fasting (water/tea fasting every other day.) for over a year and was at my healthiest, then I've experienced some drastic life-style changes and fell off the wagon for good. My physical and mental state detoriated: I've gained weight, my body started retaining water, I've started craving sugar and got lost in the binging episodes, my energy levels dropped, started sleeping worse and experiencing low/bad moods quite often. I think that this is my time to get back on track and get my health, my energy & my old weight back and I need some support to get started.

Welcome Zii, you've come to the right place. We've been holding a sort of support group on the forum labeled Badly Needs a Mentor. Why not jump on over and join us. What are your plans? Are you going to try to start off with a longer fast, such as 3, 5, or 7 days and then get into IF or are you going to do a longer water fast? I'm on day 5 of 10 days of a water fast. I've found that fasting, even Intermittent fasting is wonderful for getting your binge and out of control eating back on track.
