I've been posting in the Feb. thread, but my intentions for a long fast turned into a 5 day water fast and 2 day eating IF schedule.

I'm loving it!

I can see myself being on this indefinitely, with a bit of flexibility in the future as I plan the eating days around social occasions where I feel it would be beneficial and pleasant to join in.

I do think it will change as this is changing my habits and eliminating addictions! But until now, whilst I felt amazing on IF done eating in the 5 hour window style, I could not do it. I was obsessed with food and severely overate during the window, there was a panic feeling and like the "day before the diet" this fear that I'll never eat anything good again so I have to eat it all now. That is gone right now, and I'm sure if I attempted it again it would be different, but I like this. Perhaps if I feel I need it in the future for some serious athletic training I'll give it a go.

Do you mean to say that you are thinking about eating two days a week and fasting five days a week each and every week? That would be amazing if one could do this. I would love to adopt this as a way of life, but I'm not sure I could do it.

I have tried to do a Monday-Sunday '0010101' weekly fast. However, when I have tried this, I have always found myself wanting to do longer than a two-day fast once I got to Wednesday morning (the first '1' in the pattern). So I have yet to give this fasting method a chance. Maybe one day I will, though.

Yes, eating on the weekends -- not a three dayweekend haha 2days only, and fasting the other 5. I feel like I found the perfect way to eat for me right now.
