Dear FastDoctor, I'm on my 8th fast water day, I lose 9 kgs.
Still have lot of acid reflux and got a flour flavour when swallowing.

How could I get rid of it ?

acid reflux and nausea -> Metoclopramide
flour flavour -> ???

This is an odd one Pierrot... "flour Flavour" can be so many things... but most likely an old chemical nor group of chemicals mobilized from your fats. Best way is to do another vigorous elimination cycle.

Dear FastDoctor is fasting one day a week during 40 weeks is equivalent to fasting
40 days in a row or not ? and why ?

It seems that the ketones metabolism is not yet started in just one day so it could be difficult to benefit the same isn't ?

Not quite Pierrot.. they have different functions to some extent. Bearing in mind that a fast truly begins about 24 hours after the last meal, a day of fasting per week is really only a few hours, and that only if you go beyond 24 hours. Thus if you fast 48 hours every week for 40 weeks, that might approach the depth of a 40 day fast. But the longer fasts "delve deeper".

Indeed as you point out, Ketosis takes about a day to develop. Same as the argument above.
