I'm in the process of fasting an I just recently joined this site really hoping to find some answers ... I hear dry fasting works faster and more efficiently than water fasting but some have told me dry fasting can make depression worst ..can any one share from expierence or knowledge about this ??? I would really appreciate it

Dry fasting, dear Jc, can be quite dangerous. I was fasting very regularly for about 10 years before going dry on shorter fasts. Not having water forces your body to break down more fat in order to produce metabolic water. Thus indeed yes you may lose more fat but this may also over-load your elimination system with toxins and your circulation with ketones. This makes it even more important to adhere to elimination cycles during the fast of course.

It is always best to listen to your biofeedback.
